The Month of October

Published by crsenter at 9:09 pm under Misc. Edit This

Well, it’s finally October and time to start looking to all things spooky. Throughout this month, Ancient History at Today.com, is going to be looking into all the little things that go bump in the night, including how odd little saying like that came to be. Most people, especially here in the States, see this as being the month that all things supernatural, come to pass.

A few things I want to cover between now and Halloween are stories and articles about ghosts, monsters, symbols of Halloween, and other things associated with the month of October. However, I need some help with ideas. I’m inviting all readers to add their comments as to what they’d like to see here. I won’t promise that I get to all ideas, but I will do everything I can to find the real information behind strange superstitions, weird happenings, and anything else we can think of that have to do with this time of year.

So take heed, my readers dear
Of things that go bump in the night.
This month we’ll venture deep into,
The world where strangeness takes flight.

I think it would be great to hear about different haunted stuff in different states, like around here there is a famous cemetery called Stepp cemetery, has a great spooky story to it and I’ve actually been there, was very scared when I went lol.
